Carbotronics has introduced a ‘Power-Based Maintenance’ approach for servicing the Power Frame: maintenance is scheduled based on the actual power used by the motor – i.e. in watt-hours – rather than kilometres. The system records the energy used over time and links the service interval to the actual load under which the power unit is operating.
